Eclipse AVN6600 and its 2 DVD drives
navigation
You'll tell me that there are others solutions to do this : maps on an hard drive, or a DVD drive below the seat, or the famous corridor. And you're not totally wrong, so here is another argument : with this system, you can watch a movie at the front of the car and another one at the back (see photo).
It's simple, it will cost more money but Fujitsu Ten did it : 2 DVD drives in the next Eclipse AVN6600.
What for ?
The main purpose, and every user of embedded navigation system understood it since the title, is to listen music or watch a movie being guided on the road (the maps are on another DVD).

For those which do not know: the corridor is a function that some navigation systems have: when you chose your destination, the system calculates the road and memorizes part of the map, a part which contains your road and a little around. That's the corridor. After that, you can withdraw CD or DVD which contains the map, and listen to a music on CD.
